Lizzi Waldmüller - Illustrierte Magazine
Lizzi Waldmüller was a German film star during the Nazi period. Here she is shown hoofing it at a much earlier date in this photo from Das Magazin, which is archived at the Illustrierte Magazine site. I can't determine the name of the film this comes from. Ms. Waldmüller appeared in at least two films from the 1940s with cancans - Bel Ami and Frau Luna
See the earlier postings about her here, with some some nicer photos and links to photos, at:

Description from the site:
"Illustrated magazines from the era of Classic Modernism are a rich and esthetically top-rate source for the history of the period between the wars with regard to everyday life, culture, communication, design and photography. Our website offers the complete inventories of "Querschnitt", "UHU", "Kriminal-Magazin", "Jüdische Magazin" and "Auto-Magazin", soon to be joined by five more titles. Ten of the most important German-language magazines of the period with roughly 650 issues, with 75,000 printed pages and more than 50,000 illustrations have for the first time been compiled virtually and made available to both researchers as well as to readers interested in cultural history."

Bel Ami 1939
There is now a full copy of the German film Bel Ami from 1940 available on You Tube. The lead cancan dancer is Lizzi Waldmuller. The quality is not good, but it is the best that is currently available. It is too large a file to post here, but you can see it at:

(cancan at 51:05)

Bel Ami - German - 1939
Heretofore there was no You Tube video of the 1939 German film "Bel Ami" that featured Lizzi Waldmuller as a cancan dancer, and the above still was the best available image from the performance.
That void has now been filled with this posting of the full movie:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaGnWu4h2qI
(the cancan appears intermittently from 51:20 until about 57:00)
You might want to look quickly. I don't know how long this will remain posted at You Tube.

Lizzi Waldmüller
German star Lizzi Waldmüller in a set of photos performing "Valencia Tanz" at a 1937 event called "Kabarett der Komiker: 300 Jahre Kabarett". The costume isn't a cancan costume, but I like it, and she certainly shows she can kick with the best of them. She did in fact do a cancan number in "Bel Ami".

Lizzi Waldmuller - Frau Luna
Lizzi Waldmuller, mentioned in the last post about "Bel Ami", also starred in another German film with a cancan, "Frau Luna"
There is a slide show from the film at YouTube:
