La Vie Parisienne (1936) - Video

La Vie Parisienne (1936) - Links

A "new" film with a cancan.  The video quality is bad and the original editing mars the production, but there are a few nice scenes in it.  One is reminiscent of "L'Atlantide"

Black Panty Brigade

Love the amateurs from this period - probably late 40s or early 50s.

Pink Lady in Black and White

To complement Tom Isa's post at Cancan Favorites of Pink Lady in a video performance.

The first few photos of them show them in their new tricolore costumes.  The remainder show why they are called "Pink Lady".

"Hold Tight" USO Show

A salute to the troops, which must have been much appreciated by the 11th Airborne Division

From Camp Polk, Louisiana 1944

The name of the dance troupe is muddled on the back of the photo but appears to be the Catherine Behney Dancers.
