For those, like me, who fondly remember the Fifties and early Sixties, you might want to check out the Vintage Fro-Fro site at the link above.  Even if you weren't around then, I think you'll find plenty to like.

There is a huge compendium of photos from that era (mostly the sixties) featuring models in a fair number of cancan-esque poses and a lot more lingerie and teasing upskirt shots.   Many are from Spick and Span and Beautiful Britons, and there will be some familiar faces to be seen.  But there are also quite a few that are new to me.  The clarity of the images varies.

Be advised before you venture there that maybe 20% of the photos are bondage related and that there is some nude genitalia on display too.

That said, enjoy the garter belts, stockings, go-go boots and bouffant hairdos.  There's not a pair of the hated pantyhose in sight.

The photos overlap what used to be available at the Vintage Stockings Archive, which may have been the source of some of many of the images at Vintage Fro-Fro.  Sadly, the Vintage Stockings Archive appears to have gone dark.  Here are some photos gleaned from it:

Die lustige Witwe: Die Grisetten (c. 1908) Grisettenlied from "The Merry Widow"

A remarkable find!  The grisettes from The Merry Widow - circa 1908, if the file name is correct.  It is very old at any rate and doesn't look like something more modern that attempts to be retro. 

Besides the year, no other information is given which could help identify the performers or venue.

It clearly came from film, and sadly there are interruptions where the film melted.  Nevertheless it is great to see how it really was.
