Classic Photo Archive

Welcome to the CCD CLASSIC PHOTO ARCHIVE. 

 This site has been established as an adjunct to Club CCD and its affiliated sites, and is meant to provide a definitive collection of cancan-related imagery from the "Golden Age" (1931-1969). Due to space considerations on the Yahoo network, I have decided to transfer our substantial body of black & white photography into a single archive, drawing together the work of the critically acclaimed photo-journalists who documented the Cancan during its postwar renaissance.

Services include message boards, photo albums and links to the online cancan community. Membership is open to everyone, and contributions are always welcome. All images posted to our galleries must be traditional black & white (and nothing later than 1969). Please note that any postings deemed obscene, inappropriate or malicious will be removed immediately and their authors banned from the community.

I posted a message some time ago about the can-can scene from a film with Paul Newman called A New Kind of Love.I still cannot seem to get any info on who the dancers were.Request any info Harold

Mr. Payes' (Dixie Flatline's) Photos

I just received the first of Robert Payes' "Naughty Can-Can Girls" photosets.  It was pure magic!  It's quite spicy, though, but if you want a touch of the old-fashioned can-can with a brushing of burlesque, buy it.  Post here and I'll give you more details.  Wah-Hoo!
