This great photo is of Hazel Rayson who performed with a cancan troupe at the Balmbras Pub in Newcastle upon Tyne in the 1960s. Wish I'd been there. She went on to a successful career as the owner of a dance studio. The interesting story is at the Chronicle Live site:
